The Office of International Commerce, the U.S. Commercial Services Office and Granite State District Export Council are pleased to present an in-person training on Export Logistics. Ms. Lorie Schlatterer and Mr. Travis Klingseisen, UPS, Ms. Jennifer Saak, Traliance, and Ms. Christine Abely, Middleton & Shrull will help to provide an understanding of the basics of international logistics flow, operational export compliance processes and legal considerations for your shipments. This training will begin with information on document requirements and their submission process for shipment including Electronic Export Information (EEI)/Automated Commercial Environment (ACE), certificates of origin and Bills of Lading. They will then cover freight options for your shipments and the importance of insurance, followed by export compliance processes vs. procedures and denied parties screening processes. To conclude, there will be a discussion on drafting and utilizing export compliance manuals and tips on auditing and record keeping.
